เนื้อเรื่องย่อ

Buddhist monk Tang Seng and his followers arrive in the Kingdom of Women during a storm, and shelter in an abandoned temple. Later that night, Tang Seng meets Ye Ximo and saves her from the grips of a scorpion demon. When they meet again by daylight, Tang Seng realizes Ye is the king of the country, while it dawns on her that she must consume his soul to save the people of her country. Reluctant to treat Tang Seng so cruelly, Ye Ximo resolves to set him free, but Tang has ideas of his own. He longs to free the spirits of her nation, and help them reincarnate. Determined to sacrifice himself for the greater good, Tang Seng sets out in search of help that may lead to greater harm...
